The First‑Time NCR Member’s Track Experience
Your first Track Experience at Club Motorsports in Tamworth, NH isn’t just an introduction — it’s the moment the North Country Region spirit grabs you by the shoulders and says welcome to the mountain.
You arrive at Club Motorsports with that unmistakable mix of nerves and adrenaline — the feeling every NCR member remembers from their first day on track. The mountain air is crisp, the paddock is buzzing, and your car sits ready for its big moment. Before anything else, the Region’s Tech Inspection team gives your car a quick but thorough safety check. It’s the same process used for full HPDE entrants, and passing it feels like earning your first stamp of approval.
Then comes the real thrill: sliding into the passenger seat beside your NCR instructor. Whether it’s your own car or theirs, the instructor takes the wheel — and you’re about to see the track the way seasoned drivers do. As you roll out of grid, they begin explaining the essentials: car control, the proper line around the track, how to handle traffic, and the rhythm of the run‑group format. Corner stations, flags, passing etiquette — it all clicks into place as you watch it unfold in real time.
The pace stays appropriate for beginner run groups, but the excitement is unmistakable. You feel the car settle into the line through the Esses, climb toward the summit, and flow down the back side of the mountain. Your instructor demonstrates proper passing signals, courtesy on track, and the calm, confident communication that defines NCR’s culture. It’s not just a ride — it’s your first taste of High‑Performance Driver Education, delivered with the safety, professionalism, and enthusiasm that make NCR legendary.
By the time you roll back into grid, you’re buzzing. One session — that’s all Track Experience includes — but it’s more than enough to leave you wanting the full DE program. And best of all, your $100 Track Experience fee goes directly as a donation to NH Make‑A‑Wish, turning your adrenaline rush into something meaningful.
